A guidebook only for prospective CalArts BFA1 graphic design students to prevent them from making mistakes and help them receive secret information and advice for their upcoming school life.
For the final thesis of college, I proposed a book for prospective CalArts graphic design freshmen. The guidebook lets students explore the school and learn first year graphic design student’s life within a visually playful aesthetic. Titled How to Avoid Screw Up Big Time, I created an entire contents and persona. Throughout the work, I challenged myself to explore the full scope of branding deliverables including memorabilia around the school.
